Who we are
Data Center Headhunters is a specialist recruiting firm based in Miami, Florida. We recruit for data center construction and data center operations, and we do not take searches outside that field. A hiring manager who calls us is talking to people who already know the difference between a superintendent on a hyperscale shell and a chief engineer on a live floor.
We recruit nationwide, in all 50 states. A search can be local, it can involve relocation, or it can be filled by traveling candidates who go where the work is. We tell you early which of those routes the market supports for your role, because a project in a small town and a project beside a major hub do not draw from the same pool.
We work on contingency. There is no upfront fee, and you pay only if you hire. That arrangement keeps the incentive simple: a search that does not produce someone you want to employ does not produce an invoice.
It also shapes how we start. Some roles are scarce enough that a clear conversation about timing, pay and location matters more than speed, and we would rather have that conversation in the first call than after outreach has already begun. The people you hire from us should be people you would have picked yourself if you had the time to find them.
Part of a family of specialist firms
We belong to a group of specialist recruiting brands run from Miami. Each one is built around a single industry. The idea behind the group is that a recruiter who works one field learns its job titles, its licenses, its pay habits and the places its people actually come from, and that knowledge is worth more to a hiring manager than a long list of unrelated desks.
For you, that means the person on the phone is not translating your brief from a different sector. They already know why a commissioning lead and a project engineer are not interchangeable, and which source pools produce each. Candidates notice the same thing. A technician or an engineer expects a recruiter to understand the work before asking about a move. That means knowing what the person owns today, not just reading their title. You can read how a search is organized on How we work, and how we sit next to other options, including in-house recruiting and general staffing, on How we compare.
How we work
Every search follows six steps: Search Calibration, Market Mapping, Professional Contact Intelligence, Persistent Personalized Outreach, Live Candidate Qualification, and Candidate Intelligence and Process Support. The first step settles the brief with you before anyone is contacted, and the last stays with the process through offer and start. Each step is described in full on our process page.
What we recruit
From technicians to VPs. Every level of the data center workforce, build through operations. That covers the superintendents, project managers and engineers who deliver a facility, the commissioning teams who prove it works, the critical facilities staff who keep it running, and traveling crews that move from site to site on per diem. You set the travel and per diem terms; we use them to find people whose availability and licenses fit the job. The full list of titles we recruit, grouped by family with a short description of each, is on our positions page.
What we promise
We promise that you will not pay anything to start. No retainer, no registration charge and no deposit are part of a standard contingency search, and fee terms are written into the recruiting agreement we agree with you before work begins. If the scope, exclusivity or confidentiality of a search matters to you, say so at the start and we will put it in writing rather than assume it. A written term is easier for everyone to hold to than a verbal one, and it protects your team as much as ours.
Before you interview, you should know what the person has actually done and what they need from the next job. That includes the shift pattern, the travel arrangements and the site conditions. Hiding those details until an offer only gives you another hiring problem.
We also promise that you meet people who have been qualified live for the agreed role, not a pile of resumes. For each person, we need a reason why their experience fits the work you described. If we cannot find anyone who fits, we will tell you that plainly instead of padding the list.
We offer a candidate replacement guarantee on standard search agreements. The applicable period and exact terms are set out in the signed client recruiting agreement.

Questions
What kind of firm is Data Center Headhunters?
A specialist contingency recruiting agency for direct-hire data center roles, from technicians and craft leaders to engineers and executives, across construction, commissioning, operations and the vendors that serve them.
Why focus only on data centers?
Because the vocabulary, authority levels and risks are specific. Knowing the difference between a commissioning agent and a startup technician, or between switching authority and observing, changes who we approach and how we qualify them.
How are you paid?
No upfront fee. You pay only if you hire. The fee basis is written in the agreement before any outreach.
Do you promise how quickly you will fill a role?
No. Timing depends on the role, the location and your interview process. We agree a realistic plan at calibration and report progress as the search runs.
How do you deal with counteroffers?
We ask every candidate about motivation and likely counteroffers during live qualification, and we raise it again with you before an offer goes out.
What guarantee stands behind a placement?
We offer a candidate replacement guarantee on standard search agreements. The applicable period and exact terms are set out in the signed client recruiting agreement.
What will Data Center Headhunters not do?
We do not supply contract labor, run outsourced recruiting programs, post jobs for you or charge candidates.
